NACAS has teamed up with Lookout Call to offer its members who are predominantly lone working , a service that monitors their whereabouts and safety.
Care workers who lone work can often feel anxious about their personal safety, especially if they provide support in isolated rural communities and during the long winter months.
Lookout call has been developed to give care workers peace of mind that their whereabouts can be monitored and if necessary raise the alarm with their named responders or the emergency services.
The system uses existing mobile technology, so no need to purchase any expensive equipment.
Lookout Call is provided free to NACAS members.
