Welcome

Thank you for dropping by. There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about our association and the benefits of accredited professional membership. We hope you enjoy our site.., and please note that we are not a trade union.

Who We Are

An Association for Social Care Workers

The National Association of Care & Support Workers (NACAS), is an independent membership organisation and a social movement for care and support workers. Run by care workers for care workers.

PLEASE NOTE: NACAS is not a trade union.

Care working in the UK, is yet to enjoy parity of esteem with our health care colleagues and be recognised as a profession in its own right.  As part of our ongoing work to change this,  NACAS recognises all care and support workers as individual, highly skilled care professionals.

We provide our members accredited professional body membership, along with a range of  services, advice, benefits and training opportunities that compliments their existing employment offering, to assist with career development and their mental health and well-being.

We work in collaboration with care providers, social care stakeholders, agencies  and other industry related organisations for the advancement of the care working vocation to be recognised as a highly skilled and respected profession in its own right
